Tragedy Strikes Odorite
Eugene Malone, our Beloved and Dedicated Chemist, was involved in a fatal car wreck Saturday November 24, 2007. His passion and drive for life touched everyone. He was a wonderful friend, husband, father, co-worker and chemist. His presence will be truly missed.
Services were held Wednesday, November 28, 2007 at DW Newcomers, Overland ParkKS, at 10:00 am

Keeping Employees Safe
With the outbreak of viruses and diseases today we need to pause and make sure that our distributors and employees are taking the appropriate precautions while on the job.
Get a Hepatitis B shot. OSHA recommends that any worker who may be at risk be given the vaccine. Even if your cleaning workers are not exposed to blood or other body fluids, contaminated needles, a hazard and a risk factor in becoming infected may be in the trash. OSHA estimates that over 30 percent of those individuals in the United States infected with Hepatitis B have no idea how they contracted the disease.
A simple vaccine can prevent this disease. Workers receive the vaccine in a series of three shots. Adults who are at risk of exposure to Hepatitis B can receive the first shot at any time. They'll receive the second shot at least one month after the first, and the third shot, six weeks after the first dose. The cost of the vaccine varies, but usually falls between $75 and $200, and sometimes free at some Health Clinics.
Furthermore, use disposable gloves, masks and protective eyewear to protect yourself while cleaning and handling used products.
Last, appropriate disposal of any used products will help to keep you and those you come in contact with healthy and germ-free.
